Pilgrimage to Yamunotri

Sadhvi Bhagawatiji recently led a sacred and beautiful pilgrimage to the source of the Yamunaji river, high in the Himalayas, at Yamunotri. A journey of joy, ecstasy, divine connection, and deep prayers for all of our sisters and brothers who are suffering in terror, trauma, hate, rage and tragedy across the world!

The Yamuna River is so special and sacred to Krishna and Radha and to so many devotees because Maa Yamunaji is the Goddess who loves Shri Krishna. She reached up with her waters to touch his feet, as his father Vasudeva carried him as a newborn across the river to safety.

The trek of 5 km had sounded easy in theory, but getting to the source of the Mother is never easy. It was a much more difficult trek than everyone had expected, but Sadhviji loves hiking in the mountains, and the exhilaration upon arriving was worth every step!

It was such a beautiful experience, one Sadhviji wishes she could share with everyone, everywhere.  But everyone was with us in our hearts and thoughts and prayers!
