Clean India Day Conclave & Awards in Delhi
The 8th Clean India Day Conclave & Awards, sponsored by ONGC, jointly organised by The ImagIndia Institute, House of Jugaad, in association of Indian Lawyers Association, Indian Language Services, World Dignity Forum, Rotary International, Ramraj Environment, Global Energy Parliament, News Mobile, The Peace Gong, Navjyoti India Foundation, I am Renewed and many others organisations took place at the Constitutional Club in Delhi.
HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati, Honble Dr Patrick Okabe, Member of Parliament, Uganda, Dr David Young Lee, Vice Chancellor, Kumi University, Uganda, Sufi Leader Syed Salman Chishtyji, Ajmer Dargah, graced the occasion and many other eminent dignitaries such as Honble Udit Raj, MP, Ms Subha Rajan, Senior Advisor, CII, Dheerandra Singh VP the ImagIndia Institute, Shweta Lama, Director, Indian Lawyers association participated and shared their thoughts in the event.
Pujya Swamiji emphasized the importance of a Clean India for a sustainable, secure and resilient India. He inspired everyone to pledge and do their part to support Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modiji’s vision in our individual and collective capacities.
Sadhvi Bhagawatiji emphasized the importance of inculcating the values of cleaniness in youth and children so that Clean India becomes innate in our way of living and our way of existence. She gave several examples of when we consider something ours how we take care of it and if in the same way we can consider our neighborhoods and our streets ours then taking care of them and keeping them clean would be only natural. She emphasized the need for our values, our sanskaras and our education to reflect these basic, fundamental and vital needs.
Pujya Swamiji and Sadhvi Bhagawatiji gave awards to organisations and people working towards a cleaner, greener and better India for all.
