India’s 77th Republic Day Celebrated with Pride and Honour in Seattle, USA

The gracious presence of Pujya Dr. Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji, internationally renowned spiritual leader from Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, elevated the celebration to a historic level.

The new Consular Application Center was inaugurated at the Consulate in the sacred presence of Sadhvi Ji.

The Indian Tricolour was unfurled from the rooftop of the Consular Application Center, visible from afar—even from the Pacific Ocean.

Despite extremely cold weather, the Republic Day was celebrated with remarkable enthusiasm, patriotism, and pride.

The unfurling of the Indian Tricolour in Seattle was not merely a ceremonial act, but a powerful symbol of India’s independence, sovereignty, democratic strength, and the deepening India–USA friendship.

The occasion was graced by the Hon’ble Mayor of Seattle, Ms. Katie Wilson, Consul General of India Mr. Prakash Gupta Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati SaraswatiJi, and other distinguished dignitaries.

In her inspiring address, Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji said, “India is not merely a geographical entity; it is a living consciousness. Democracy here is not just a system of governance, but a sacred duty rooted in compassion, truth, and responsibility.”

The participation of over 300 members of the Indian-American community reaffirmed that Indian culture, values, and the spirit of the Constitution remain vibrant across the world.
