Sadhviji Distinguished Speaker at Menstrual Hygiene Management India Summit 2024 in Delhi

Sadhviji was a distinguished speaker at the Menstrual Hygiene Management India Summit 2024, held at the iconic Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, the renowned G20 Summit venue. Hosted by @Gramalaya in collaboration with Reckitt Benckiser, the summit brought together leaders and experts to address the urgent need for menstrual health awareness and solutions.

The summit focused on breaking taboos, promoting education, and ensuring access to menstrual products, with the goal of empowering women and girls through dignity, health, and equality.

Sadhviji gave a keynote address in the opening inaugural ceremony along with Former Minister of Culture and Tourism, Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, Shri Ravi Bhatnagar, Director, External Affairs and Partnerships SOA, Reckitt Mr. S. Damodaran Padma Shri Awardee, Founder and CEO, Gramalaya, Mrs. Sneha Shergill, Mrs India-2016, Queen of Substance,and many prominent dignitaries and supporters of health, sanitation, education and hygiene.

She emphasized the importance of providing safe, secure and clean places in schools, universities, companies and all work places for our girls and women so they can keep themselves clean during their menstrual cycle! It is the only way to have true gender equality — if they can continue to attend school and work even during their menstrual cycles!

This impactful event highlighted the collective responsibility to ensure menstrual health equity for all, paving the way for lasting, transformative change.
