Sadhviji’s Birthday!

What a sacred, divine, beautiful birthday….. here on #throwbackthursday it’s such a blessing to share this video that has been made of all the highlights of the day, now 10 days ago. The morning beginning with our sacred fire ceremony in the grove of ancient trees, blessed by Pujya Swamiji and then spending the entire day on the banks of Ganga, about half-hour up river from Rishikesh at an incredibly serene stretch of Ganga. Bathing, with our beloved seva family, praying, bathing, walking, bathing, and ending with a truly divine evening meditation on the quiet banks of Ganga as the sun dipped behind the mountains. Then a surprise cake cutting with our beloved rishikumars and Parmarth seva family. While we are officially celebrating my birthday in June during our special 7-day celebration of Pujya Swamiji’s 70th birthday and my 50th, from the 3rd to 9th June, this sacred day — immersed in quiet connection with Mother Ganga — was such a sacred way to honor the day my beloved mother pushed and pushed and, by God’s grace, I was able to take birth onto this beautiful planet!
