US Ambassador to India Hosts Special Dinner for Richard Gere

Pujya Swamiji and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati graced a special dinner hosted by Hon’ble US Ambassador to India Mr Richard Verma for the famous Hollywood Actor Mr Richard Gere. Richard Gere, who was also in Bodh Gaya when the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance’s leaders visited His Holiness the Dalai Lama to present him with a preview of the WASH in Buddhism book, was very happy to meet Pujya Swamiji and Sadhvi Bhagawatiji again. They spoke about the critical need for improved WASH for all and the incredible work being done by GIWA, the Ganga Action Parivar and the Divine Shakti Foundation. They also congratulated the Hon’ble US Ambassador for his incredible term in office and for his continual support for GIWA. Pujya Swamiji led everyone in a special prayer and Sadhvi Bhagawati shared a few words on the special occasion. Thereafter a very special dinner was enjoyed by all.
