
Sadhvi Bhagawatiji Represents Hinduism at the Global Faith Leaders Summit in Dubai Ahead of COP28
Pujya Sadhviji took part in creating change early this month as – under the patronage of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates – the Global Faith Leaders Summit brought together over 150 representatives from science, religion and politics to enhance climate ambitions ahead of COP28 in Dubai. Pujya Sadhviji joined other renowned and esteemed faith leaders, as she represented India and Hinduism in the august gathering organized by the United Nations Environment Programme and the Council of Muslim Elders.
The Abu Dhabi Summit was convened in the lead-up to COP28 to unite faith leaders in commitment to abate the climate perils that the Earth faces. The leaders all unanimously emphasized that we all share a sacred duty to protect and preserve not only our human family but also the fragile ecosystem that cradles us.
