Sadhviji Joins Global Peace Foundation’s 2023 Indo-Pacific Global Peace Leadership Conference in New Delhi

Sadhviji joined interfaith and civic leaders from around the world for the Global Peace Foundation’s 2023 Indo-Pacific Global Peace Leadership Conference in New Delhi recently. It was a beautiful and powerful gathering as the leaders came together to talk about the ways that we can continue to use a values-based approach to peace-building, as a way of promoting fair and sustainable development as a means of addressing conflicts, and enlisting our divine global family as partners in building a world of peace.

HH Param Pujya Swamiji; GPF Founder and Chairman, Dr. Hyun Jin Preston Moon; President of the Indian Council for International Cooperation, Ambassador Shri Virendra Gupta; GPF Chairman for India, Dr Markandey Rai; GPF Fellow, Dr Ashok Pandey; GPF President, James P. Flynn; Vice-Chancellor of Manav Rachna University, Professor Dr IK Bhat; Chairman of the Interreligious Council of Kenya, Rev Father Joseph Mutie; Civil 20 India Coordinator, Prof Vinod Menon; GPF Regional Director for India, Binny Sareen, and so many other distinguished speakers and guests took part in this event, and all signed the New Delhi Declaration, a joint proclamation that recognizes a unifying path forward in a common vision, universal principles and shared values from which to coordinate plans of action for peace.

Sadhviji shared how selfishness sinks us faster and lines in the sand divide us more, and how we must connect and empathize, and let these actions of love and compassion ripple into society. It’s the surest way to foster peace in our own communities, and in the world around us.
