Sadhviji Speaks at Inauguration of Jane Goodall Institute of India Program in Mumbai
Sadhvi Bhagawatiji had the huge blessing joy of spending two days with her lifelong hero, Jane Goodall!
When Sadhvji was young, and anyone asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, the answer was always the same: Jane Goodall! At 90 years old, she is still traveling around the world, 300 days a year, to raise awareness about the interconnectedness of all life on this planet — humans, animals, and our environment — and the dire need for us to protect and preserve our natural habitats.
Sadhviji had the beautiful honor of speaking in the inauguration of her program, organized by the Jane Goodall Institute of India with the British council at the CSMVM museum in Mumbai about the rivers of India and how they connect to ocean literacy.
Jane’s courage to leave England for Africa in her mid- 20s to follow her dharma gave Sadhviji the courage to leave the US for India in her mid 20s to follow her dharma!
