Water for All Event at The Hague, Netherlands

Sadhvi Bhagawatiji traveled to the Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands for “Water for All,” a two-day program on water, peace and sustainability that brought together renowned international faith leaders, water experts, innovators, scientists and business leaders to help draw global attention to the need to preserve the sanctity of holy water sources, to protect water bodies from pollution and to ensure clean water provision for all in the world, leaving nobody behind.

Organized by The Living Peace Projects Foundation and held in the beautiful Peace Palace, the event introduced innovative new science and technology solutions for combining water protection, sanitation, hygiene, education and green energy, and provided an important opportunity for members of the business community, among others, to enter an interactive dialogue with the spiritual leaders present about the dire need for awareness and cooperation for action.

Sadhviji gave a beautiful and inspiring speech on how water flows for all, it is the physical substrate of our unity and oneness and how each of us must be part of the solution to end the impending water crisis through making different decisions about what we eat, what we buy, what we wear and how we live. She emphasized that we must not mistake the price tag on an item for the actual cost and we must always ask ourselves what the real cost is — to the earth, to the water, to the air and to our sisters and brothers with whom we share the planet. She gave several specific ways that we can each not only work for water in our organizations but actually choose for water in our individual lives.

A special highlight of the conference was the “Water for All” ceremony, wherein water from eighteen sacred sources was brought and merged together to represent the oneness of spirituality, creation and humanity and to remind us of our shared connection to water, life and each other.
