Sadhviji Graces The Festival of Harmony in Abu Dhabi

Sadhvi Bhagawatiji traveled to Abu Dhabi last week for The Festival of Harmony, an incredible celebration of Art, Culture and Values in honor of the opening of the BAPS Hindu Mandir, Abu Dhabi! Deep gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan for having the vision and commitment toward harmony, peace and oneness.

It was an honor for Sadhviji to be part of the final day of the 7-day Festival, a special day dedicated to Inspiration titled “The Day of Inspiration.” She had the beautiful opportunity to share with the standing-room-only packed auditorium of at least 1500 or even 2000 devotees how our spirituality, our culture and our dharma inspires us to live in harmony — both inner harmony and harmony with the world.

In a place where only a few years ago Hindus were arrested and prevented from worshipping, to have such an exquisite, extraordinary temple built with the gift of land from the government of the United Arab Emirates, is truly a historic example of building bridges, opening hearts, and joining hands.

It was a special blessing to join together with our sisters and brothers from around the world, especially at this time of unrest and divisiveness around the world.
