Valley of Words Literary and Arts Festival Welcomes Sadhviji

It was such a delight to sit with journalist and biographer Ashali Varma at the Third Edition of the Valley of Words Literary and Arts Festival recently to discuss my book, #ComeHometoYourself.

I shared about my arrival in India 23 years ago, and the experience of my visit to Maa Ganga and the tears of truth that I shed upon our first meeting. We spent a great deal of time discussing the erosion of our beautiful Hindu culture at the expense of gaining Western material possessions, and I encouraged people to take a stand against the West’s continuous depiction of India and our traditions as being somehow less-than or foreign. We also discussed Sanatan Dharma, our beautiful traditions and practices that guide us in our daily lives.
