Do you have to be poor to be holy or enlightened? Is prosperity a barrier to spiritual growth? No! Material success and spirituality are not mutually exclusive at all. We often think that we all have to become sannyasis and renounce everything – cars, homes, nice clothes – in order to advance on a spiritual path.

But, that isn’t true. There’s no house or car or pair of pants that blocks us from God or Truth. There’s blockage, yes – but, it’s not the Mercedes or the mansion.
