Procrastination
Do you procrastinate? If so, don’t worry. It’s very normal and common. However, it is a habit that needs to stop as it steals your time, your peace, your joy, and even much of your life, with the thought of whatever you are procrastinating, gnawing away at your mind! Nothing gets less annoying or less boring as time goes by. These procrastinated tasks don’t just disappear. Instead, they simply eat way at our ability to live this moment in full joy and peace, because we know we are procrastinating something else. So, as Nike shoes always reminded us: just Do It! Make a commitment that each day you will take up one task you’ve been putting off (it could be each week or even each month if they are longer tasks) and then give yourself a nice reward afterwards, so your brain starts to associate not procrastinating with getting a reward!
