Celebrating My Birth & Rebirth on Ganga Dussehra

The celebration of my 50th birthday on the anniversary of the day I took sanyas (monastic) initiation, the day that Mother Ganga came onto Earth, was such a beautiful blessing.

It’s been just a week since June 9 when, on the final day of the 7 day special Seva Celebration in honor of Pujya Swamiji’s 70th birthday and my 50th birthday, I was able to celebrate a physical birthday milestone, a RE-birth, a new life given when I took sanyas, and also a celebration of the 25 years I’ve been in India.
