What a beautiful way to begin the spiritual pilgrimage with sacred time spent with beloved dear friend Dr. Bruce Lipton. Sitting on the porch of his and his wife Margaret’s home, overlooking the forest, we spoke about existence, oneness, interconnectedness and consciousness.

In the tragic fires that struck Santa Cruz last year, the flames came to only 20 feet from his home. As we drove there, the roads were flanked by acre after acre of charred forest. It was heartbreaking. It also was such a powerful reminder of the fragility of our Mother Earth, of life-giving and life-sustaining nature, and our responsibility to protect and preserve it.
