International Day For The Elimination of Violence Against Women

On the United Nations’ International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, here’s a beautiful clip of Sadhviji sharing in our sacred Ganga Aarti the importance of remembering that our Divine Mother Goddess, whom we worship in our temples, actually LIVES in the form of our sisters, mothers, wives and daughters, in all the women and girls in our lives. As we would never harm a deity of the Devi in the temple, similarly we must never harm any of the Devis manifestations here on Earth. We cannot worship the Goddess in our temples and harm her in our homes and societies. That is sacrilege. On this important day let us all pledge to treat the girls and women in our lives and in our world with the same respect that we give to the Mother Goddess in our temples.
