Sadhviji’s Divine LIVE Satsang
In tonight’s LIVE Satsang from the Divine Garden at Parmarth Niketan, Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji responds to questions from our global family with answers that take us deeper onto our spiritual path.
Tonight’s first question comes from one of our global family members living abroad who wants what mantra to use to get what you want. To which Sadhviji simply replies, “Thank you!” Watch and listen as Sadhviji shares why!
Next, a family member in the Divine Garden shared that there’s a temple being built in his hometown, which is drawing criticism from people who believe that the building of this structure is bad for the environment and shouldn’t be built. Sadhviji shares that, to the extent that we can live our lives without harming Mother Nature, that is exactly what we need to be doing. We need to stop looking for justifications to the way we have been doing things, and start looking for solutions so that we can live in harmony with Mother Earth.
Then, another member in the Garden says that she understands that our purpose is to know who I am, but wants to know why we had to take birth without knowing who we are in the first place. In response, Sadhviji uses the example of a relationship. Things are going along swimmingly, but we continue to start fights to stir things up – because we know that the making-up and coming back together part after the fight is so rich and so beautiful. We do the same thing with the Divine!
Finally, gratitude leads to happiness, so after your glass of happiness gets full, how do you make sure that you don’t also get a sense of entitlement to go with the full glass? By being truly grateful!
To close Satsang, Sadhviji led our family in our traditional birthday celebration for Naimisha, one of our divine and dedicated sevaks at Parmarth who was treated to birthday greetings in a dozen languages, including Hindi and Sanskrit, English, French, Dutch, Afrikaner, Spanish and Norwegian.
