Man, Messenger from the Divine or the Highest Goal

Sadhvi Bhagawatiji answers a question raised in satsang about if Pujya Swamiji is man, messenger of the Divine or the highest goal of human existence. She answers so beautifully that He is everything and different people perceive and respect Him in different ways, depending on their own level of perception.

She explains that some approach Him for fulfilment of their materialistic desires, which is not bad, but it is just very simplistic and limiting. But for those who are looking deeper, they realise He is one we can learn from in the deepest sense. He is one who can help us fulfil our highest purpose. She uses a wonderful example saying rather than a messenger He, as a Guru, is more like a raft who helps ferry us across the ocean of ignorance and illusion.

Then she says that are also those who are neither materialistic nor spiritual, but who see and respect Him simply because He is so completely dedicated to the service of His world family – humans, animals, nature and more. Those who just see how His every breathe and every moment is in the service of humanity have deep respect and reverence for this because most of us think only for ourselves, therefore He to them symbols the highest that we should strive for in our lives.
