Sadhviji’s Divine Satsang: Training the Mind and Honouring the Gods and Goddesses of the Temple

Tonight, Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati led a beautiful Satsang in the Sacred Garden that dove deep into the things, both major and minor, that we encounter on our spiritual path.

Beginning with an inspiring response to a question about training the mind to do even the things it doesn’t want to do, Sadhviji eloquently shared that it’s really about changing the samskaras – the impressions – that our mind has experienced throughout this life and in other incarnations. Responding to another question from our global family, she also offered multiple examples of the things that we should be thinking about when we’re in the presence of the gods and goddesses in the temple – and a grocery list isn’t one of those things!

The highlight of the evening came when a divine young girl joined Sadhviji for a discussion about practicing restraint through fasting and delaying gratification. What started as a rather one-way conversation grew into a brilliant example of the power of connecting with the heart – a connection that overcomes the language and cultural barriers that arise in our global community.

Be sure to join Sadhviji every night, immediately following the Sacred Ganga Aarti, for the inspiring insights and divine drops of wisdom that have done so much to heal and transform so many lives!
