Satsang: How Do We Prepare to Meet Our Guru?

In responding, Sadhviji says that there two layers – the spiritual and the physical – that we have to consider when considering God’s will and our acceptance of it. “Have faith in God, but tie your camel!” sums it up beautifully! After all, your dissatisfaction is part of the perfect divine plan!

Then, another family member in the Sacred Garden wonders if she should evangelize her experiences in Hinduism with her Christian friends and family – who believe she is now worshipping other gods – or would that be casting pearls before swine? Sadhviji beautifully reminds us that the Hindu tradition believes that there is only one God – and that everything IS God! What’s important, she says, is that we have a deep relationship with God…by whatever name and in whatever form!
