Sadhviji’s Divine LIVE Satsang

In tonight’s LIVE Satsang from the Divine Garden at Parmarth Niketan, Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji responds to questions from our global family with answers that take us deeper onto our spiritual path.

After a beautiful meditation to bring us all into the present and presence, Sadhviji answers a question from one of our global family members living abroad who wants to be a Sadhu. She’s 28 years old, and dissatisfied with things that don’t last in the material world and wants to find peace. In response, Sadhvijí shares her own story, and how her life in America was the perfect start to a life that has been so deeply devoted to God, Guru and service – something that might not have happened had she been born in India or anywhere else. So, while our family member may not be satisfied with the material world, it’s exactly the place that she needs to be in to begin her own life of service.

Next, a family member in the Divine Garden follows up by asking whether Sadhviji found any challenges adapting to the new environment she discovered when she moved to India. “Definitely!” declared Sadhviji. Not so much, she says, because of differences in culture and tradition, but because of the games of the mind that keep us trapped in our habits and thought processes and leave us in pain. Sadhviji also shares beautiful stories of her early days with her Guru, Pujya Swamiji, and in the Ashram.

Then, another member wants to know about the rise of the Divine Feminine. Sadhviji reminds us that, in the Sanatan Dharm tradition, the Feminine has always been worshipped, often before the masculine or even the Guru. There has always been a deep reverence for the Mother Goddess. The dilemma in the western tradition is that it adopted a masculine hierarchy, which has subjugated women and feminine energy. Thankfully, we’re seeing change in societies and those western religious traditions that elevate the masculine to the more balanced, female-inclusive philosophies. Without the feminine, Sadhviji says, there is no creative force in the universe.
