How Do I Stop Negative Thinking?
So much of what we do is simply autopilot. We tend to live, think and act out of simple habit, impressions or grooves in our psyche, what’s called in Hindi “sanskaras.” It’s the habitual way that our brains act based on these impressions. So, if you’re a negative-thinker, it’s because you’ve got these grooves, these patterns and habits of thinking negatively and you’ve most likely always thought of things in a negative way. You wake up thinking about what can go wrong, spend the day thinking about how hard the world is. You’ve always done it, so it’s what you do!
