LIVE Satsang with Sadhviji from the Sacred Garden at Parmarth Niketan
In tonight’s LIVE New Year’s Eve Satsang from the Satsang Bhawan at Parmarth Niketan, Pujya Sadhviji responds to questions from our global family with answers that take us deeper onto our spiritual path.
To begin, Sadhviji shares that, even though we don’t celebrate this as the New Year in Sanatan Dharm, we’ll celebrate it because it’s a beautiful opportunity to remember how precious life is and how important it is for us to make sure that we actually have life in our living.
Sadhviji answers a question from one of our global family members living abroad who wants to know whether New Year’s resolutions really work. It seems, they say, as if we’re setting ourselves up for disappointment. But as Sadhviji says, resolutions work if you make them. Obviously, if you make it a point to keep your commitments then, no, they don’t work. But if you do what you say you’re going to do, then they’re a beautiful way to change your life.
Next, a family member iin the Hall wonders how to become more like Sadhviji, and wonders whether it’s even possible living in the outside world. Sadhviji responds that she is the way that she is because she constantly prays to God to remove whatever blocks there are that keep her from being Him on Earth. And, she says, “I really don’t like stress. It feels much better to not be in stress. It feels much better to love. It feels much better to accept. And, for that, I consciously choose peace and love in my life.”
Then, another family member asks how to let go on a daily basis of the negative energy that keeps us blocked and stuck. Watch and listen as Sadhviji explains.
And, as a mentor, how do you foster respect in others. “You cannot force anyone to respect you. You must earn it. Just as you can say you’re a mentor, but unless those that you mentor respect you then you won’t really have a job. You must become the person that people want to learn from.”
Finally, we celebrate the birthday of Vanessa from Mexico! In over a dozen languages – including Lithuanian – Vanessa will probably never forget how she spent this birth anniversary!
