Never Say You’ll Never Forgive
Never say you will never forgive! I have found in my life that forgiveness is the key to mental health. As long as I hold grudges and anger in my heart, I suffer. Regardless of how “unforgiveable” something might be, that act is the karma of the person who did it. My karma is to let it go and move on so it doesn’t enslave me or destroy my happiness. I learned that forgiveness doesn’t mean we condone what someone did. It doesn’t mean we absolve them of their karmic debt or that we want them to do it again. Forgiveness simply means, “I deserve to be free.” It’s been an extraordinary journey and one that is available for all.
At this time of #mentalhealthawareness month, forgiveness can be the greatest and most powerful first step to true mental health. If you want to read in detail how I learned to forgive even severe abuse and deep trauma, and how I have been able to find true freedom please get a copy of my new memoir Hollywood to the Himalayas: A Journey of Healing and Transformation available at: https://www.amazon.com/Hollywood-Hima…
