Sadhviji’s Divine LIVE Satsang

Join us tonight for a LIVE Satsang from the Sacred Garden at Parmarth Niketan where Pujya Sadhviji will be answering questions from our global family, offering insights to deepen our spiritual path. The session begins with a grounding meditation to center ourselves, using mantra and pranic breathing to focus our awareness.

One of the questions answered by Sadhviji is from a member of our global family who experiences subtle rocking movements while meditating and wonders why. Sadhviji explains that in Hinduism, there are different bodies called koshas and different channels called nadis that are affected by meditation. Movement is a common effect, and while it is not exclusive to meditation, it is more noticeable during this practice. It is important to stay focused on our center and not get lost in these experiences, continually bringing our awareness back to our center.

Another question comes from a female seeker who asks about the importance of having a guru or spiritual guide outside of India. Sadhviji explains that a guru helps remove the veil of ignorance so that we can see the truth of who we are. A real guru shines the light on the seeker, not on themselves. There is no rule that a guru must be from India, and there are holy people and mystics all over the world. In today’s world, it is easier than ever to stay in touch with a teacher no matter where they are located.

Lastly, a young man asks about using sadhana to cure pain from a past life. Sadhviji explains that karmic fruit from past lives can manifest in this life as suffering, and while we cannot change the past, we can change how we react to it in the present moment. Sadhana or the grace of the guru can transform the karmic fruit so that it is lessened or softened. The goal is not to change the karma but to change ourselves so that we can learn to live with and even enjoy the challenges that come our way.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to join us for Divine Satsang with Sadhviji every night from the Holy Banks of Mother Ganga. And, for those who missed previous sessions, they are available for replay on our timeline.
