Sadhviji shares that it’s so easy to concern ourselves with what others are doing or not doing. The challenge is that that takes the focus off ourselves, and we lose sight of our own path. It is not our job to change the world – only to change ourselves.

Next, a family member in the Hall wonders about the deeper purpose of the Aarti – and, about the transformation that takes place when we practice it. Sadhviji shares that it’s the axis around which everything else that we do at the Ashram because it possesses a power that has nothing to do with dogma or religion. That power is the power of the Mother, and it is made more powerful through the grace of the mantras and the connection between the participants.
