Sadhviji’s Divine LIVE Satsang
In tonight’s LIVE Satsang from the Satsang Bhawan at Parmarth Niketan, Pujya Sadhviji responds to questions from our global family with answers that take us deeper onto our spiritual path.
To begin, Sadhviji leads a beautiful guided meditation to anchor and ground us in the present moment. Then, she answers a question from one of our global family members living abroad who wants to know whether the peace and quiet that we all want actually begins with ourselves. “Of course it does,” replies Sadhviji. “But, sadly, the noise that disturbs our peace is the noise in our own heads. So a lot of us don’t even know what peace and quiet really is, let alone how to find it.”
Next, a family member in the Hall wonders how we can increase my involvement in the things that we don’t like to do. Sadhviji responds by sharing that we tend to disconnect from things we don’t like, which is why we should turn such things into a meditative practice, taking every moment as an opportunity for mindful thinking.
Then, another family member asks what to do when you feel like life is not worth living. Sadhviji says, “Get help – immediately! Give yourself time to see things differently. Find a way to hold on until the day when you can say, Thank God I’m still here!'”
Finally, how do I embrace myself and the new name, Padma, that my Master has given me. “Padma means Lotus. So, be like the Lotus. You don’t need anything from the outer world. It’s the inner world that matters.”
