Sadhviji’s Divine LIVE Satsang
In tonight’s LIVE Satsang from the Sacred Garden at Parmarth Niketan, Pujya Sadhviji responds to questions from our global family with answers that take us deeper onto our spiritual path.
To begin, Sadhviji leads a sublime meditation that takes us out of the outer world and into the our inner self, then answers a question from a global family member living abroad who wants to know if it is himsa – violence – to cut-up fruits and vegetables. In response, Sadhviji affirms that all living beings have awareness and are affected by our actions, so we make choices based on the amount of violence and the level of consciousness in the being and do our best to live at the lowest level of harm scale as possible.
Next, a family member in the Garden wonders if, after we leave our bodies and before we take on another body, it’s possible that our energy can just merge with the divine and avoid any more rebirths. Watch and listen as Sadhviji replies.
Then, another family member asks if there is a purpose for the Ego. Absolutely. Without it, there are no boundaries…no system of appropriate behaviour. The Ego helps us define and individualize our place in the world…it socializes us so that we can avoid causing harm to others.
And, how do we control our anger? Anger must be healed, not controlled, and that comes from introspection about why we’re angry – which is usually because the world isn’t operating the way we want it to.
Plus, how do we know we’re on the path of realization? Look at your behaviour.
Finally, when is the best moment to love our parents? Every moment!
