What to offer to God? On this is sacred day of Krishna Janashtami, Sadhviji lovingly recounts the beautiful teaching of Lord Krishna from the Bhagavad Gita:

patraṁ puṣpaṁ phalaṁ toyaṁ
yo me bhaktyā prayacchati
tad ahaṁ bhakty-upahṛtam
aśnāmi prayatātmanaḥ

In this divine mantra Lord Krishna Himself tells us what He wants — our devotion! Whatever is offered to Him whether a leaf, a flower, fruit or water that is offered in love and devotion is accepted by the Divine with love.
