The Sacred Nights & Sacred Rites of Navratri

Navaratri means “nine nights.” This festival is observed twice a year, once in the beginning of summer and again at the onset of winter. During Navaratri, we invoke the energy aspect of God in the form of the Universal Mother, commonly referred to as “Durga, in Her many forms and realising that by Her Grace we are granted the life we have on this planet.

In this beautiful discourse from Divine Satsang, Sadhviji explains the sacred rituals of silence and fasting and how they can bring us closer to the Divine and connect us with the Mother Goddess.
