World Population Day
Today is the United Nations World Population Day. We must take care of our currrent population by ensuring they have access to basic human rights — clean water, clean air, food, health care, education, justice. We must also take care of the future generations by ensuring that there is a healthy planet for them to inhabit and also by procreating consciously. Every pregnancy and birth should be a healthy one and a wanted one! AND, on a spiritual level, we must learn to see ALL the children of the world as ours, not only those who come out of our own wombs. It’s a joy for our Global Interfaith WASH Alliance to partner with UNFPA India on programs for #lifeskills and #empowerment .
