Sadhviji’s Divine LIVE Satsang

Sadhviji’s Divine LIVE Satsang

In Divine Satsang from the Sacred Garden at Parmarth Niketan, Pujya Sadhviji answered questions from the global family, providing answers that took us deeper onto our spiritual path.

To begin the Satsang, Sadhviji led a beautifully grounding meditation, ensuring that everyone was focused and centered through meditation, mantra, and pranic breathing, and ready to enjoy the sanga of Satsang.

As always, Sadhviji began by answering a question from a global family member who asked, “How Can I Be Like Hanuman?” Hanumanji is an incredible embodiment of devotion and surrender. He said, “I take Lord Ram’s name and the miracles happen.” That is not false humility but sincere. Hanuman’s answer to Lord Rama asking him “Who are you?” was, “When I forget who I am, I am your servant. But when I remember who I am, then I am You, One with You.” Hanumanji is not just a macho being but the embodiment of joy in service. He is waiting for nothing but wants only to be near to God. His example reignites within us the power of devotion and recognizing that love is the greatest power we have.

Next, a seeker asked, “Where is AI (Artificial Intelligence) taking us, and what is the spiritual and philosophical implication?” We know that technology is expanding exponentially, and nothing goes backward. So the question is how to we harness it and use it for the greatest good. It may well be that countries come together and make some guidelines, but like nuclear weapons, countries do not always listen to pacts, acts, and treaties. The question for all of us is to think about how to best use this incredible tool. People will need to reinvent how we educate ourselves and how, together as societies, we figure out what it means for our workplace, education, and life. It’s going to be a fascinating time. It’s a great and beautiful opportunity to reinvent what is work that, as a society, we are prepared to pay for. Also, we are starting to look at the Dharma of technology because now we are going to have to look at the values, ethics, morals, and dharma of AI itself.

A woman asked about the role of women and femininity and whether there is any hope for women to be enlightened. Sadhviji explained that there is a big difference between male and female bodies and divine masculine and divine feminine. Everyone, man and woman, has both. The feminine energy is the power through which all is and that through which it comes. The masculine energy is mostly seen as unmanifest. So do not think for a moment that because you have a female body that you are disqualified from enlightenment.

A follow-up question on AI was about gaining consciousness. Sadhviji explained that we can’t program consciousness, but we can program conscience. Consciousness is the ability to witness myself, to be able to witness anger arising in me but realizing that I am not the anger. And then, to be anchored in the awareness that I am watching the witness of the anger. You can’t teach a machine to do that. There are no tangible building blocks of consciousness. The “I” does not exist in the building blocks of the body, and you definitely can’t build that in 1s and 0s.

We invite you to tune in every night for Divine Satsang with Sadhviji from the Holy Banks of Mother Ganga, and take some time to revisit previous sessions for more Drops of Wisdom. Let us continue to explore these deep spiritual truths and gain a greater understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
