Sadhviji’s Divine LIVE Satsang
In tonight’s LIVE Satsang from the Sacred Garden at Parmarth Niketan, Pujya Sadhviji responds to questions from our global family with answers that take us deeper onto our spiritual path.
To begin, Sadhviji answers a question from a global family member living abroad who wants to know why we shout when we’re angry. In response she shares beautifully that our volume adjusts based on the distance of our hearts. When we’re in love we whisper…when we’re out of love we shout.
Next, a family member iin the Garden wonders how to let go of things that others do to us…how do we forgive and forget? Sadhviji shares that we don’t want to forget the incident because we then lose the opportunity for a beautiful lesson or teaching. When we forgive and let go, however, we take the power away from the memory because we take out the emotional component.
Then, another family member asks how to deal with the increasing anger in the world – including amongst our children and youth. Sadhviji beautifully reminds us that they learn that anger from us, so it’s vital that we provide them with positive and peaceful role models.
And, what is the difference between karma and destiny? The evergreen question. If everything is written, where is my control? Sadhviji shares that your destiny brings you to where you are right now. Everything from this point forward depends on what you do right now.
Finally, how do we forgive ourselves? One, recognise we didn’t plan to harm someone or something, and that we are not the action that we feel guilty about. Two, remember that we deserve to be free and do everything we can to put the incident behind us.
