Satsang: How Do We Avoid Burn-out?

In tonight’s Divine LIVE Satsang from the Sacred Garden at Parmarth Niketan, Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati responds to questions from our global family with answers that take us deeper into our spiritual path.

The first question comes from a global family member living abroad who wonders how to avoid burn-out or giving up entirely when our service becomes overwhelming. In response, Sadhviji beautifully reminds us that as soon as we recognise the divine in others, then service becomes natural because their hunger is our hunger…their need is our need.

Then, a family member in the Sacred Garden asks a follow-up question about burn-out, to which Sadhviji responds by sharing what HH Param Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji has to say on the subject – that when we burn for others in service it’s eternal…when we burn inside from others in anger or resentment, that’s when we experience burn-out! When we view service as work, we burn-out; when we view service as life, it becomes a great joy!

Next, another member in the garden wonders about the actor and the role, asking how you get out of the story when the role is finished. Watch and listen as Sadhviji explains.
